Woods in Italy 2008

After much planning my good mate & training buddy Woodsy finally arrived in Italy for a month. This was his first trip to Europe & to say I was excited about our month ahead was definitely an understatement. My plan for his time in Italy was to ride & sample as much of the local produce as possible. I wanted him to experience the real Italy. My Italy! Out on the road I put him through his paces in the hills around Siena & down on the coast of Maremma. Whilst staying with my good mate Paolo the 3 of us toured by bike every day exploring this unique part of Tuscany. The guys were very gracious guinea pigs for my future bike trips. After long days in the saddle we thoroughly deserved every post training beverage. Paolo & Asma were great hosts as usual at Le Vigne di Caldana.

It was then off to Scotland (where Chula is currently working), Ireland & London. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to take our bikes on the next leg of our journey. We had such a fantastic time over the past month & already Woodsy is planning his trip for 2009.
